An ideal ski area for learning to ski
Accessible from the arrival of the Chavannes gondola, this learning area is located in a quiet, safe environment away from the ski area. It consists of two conveyor belts, a snow wire and a gondola for skiing on 4 gently sloping runs. The area is fully accessible to pedestrians.

Sheltered from wind and snowfall, you can reach the slope in total ease, whatever the weather. The enlarged and improved area around the carpet now ensures consistent snow coverage and optimal conditions throughout the season.
Access to the Mappys area now costs €14.5 for children and €19.5 for adults. This pass includes unlimited use of the conveyors and a return trip on the Chavannes cable car to Les Gets ski area.
